Amy Owen


Amy Owen is an associate attorney with Johnson Duffie. Ms. Owen focuses on the family and civil law practices. Amy has a breadth of experience counseling clients in family law matters and civil disputes. Amy has also represented individuals and business entities in contract negotiations, civil litigation, and employment matters.

Prior to joining Johnson Duffie, Amy Owen worked at a small law firm where she represented clients in a variety of civil and family law matters. Before entering private practice, Ms. Owen clerked for the Honorable James P. Cullen of the Lancaster County Court of Common Pleas where she gained experience in a wide array of civil and criminal cases and drafted judicial opinions for the litigants and the appellate courts.

Ms. Owen is active in the Cumberland County Bar Association, where she serves as Vice-Chair Elect of the Young Lawyers Division, and is a member of the Family Law Section and Real Estate, Probate, and Elder Law Section. She is also a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association. Amy Owen is a graduate of Lafayette College. She earned her Juris Doctor from the Quinnipiac University School of Law in Hamden, Connecticut, where she received the Clinical Legal Education Award for her work as a certified legal intern with the school's Civil Justice Clinic. During her third year of law school, Amy served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Quinnipiac Probate Law Journal. Following graduation, Ms. OWen returned to Pennsylvania and was admitted to the Bar of Pennsylvania.
